Even in this age of the pandemic, employers hosting virtual parties or sleepovers for their employees’ children during heavy workloads and deadlines, will increase productivity and morale. Hey offer it as a regular feature to give parents a break and you will have an employee for life!
If you hire college students, particularly those who are majoring in education and child development, who participate in the government-subsidized student education grant, (college work-study) you could reduce cost by becoming a subsidized employer. Win-win: you get to assist college students, as they are developing their career and they get experience, all while increasing retention of your employees by offering a needed service.
